Work

Four projects. For each: what the product was, the three decisions that mattered, and the stack.

01Finaloop

Senior Frontend Engineer, Jan 2024 – Oct 2025 · Senior FullStack Engineer, Oct 2025 – now · full-time, remote, Spain

Full-stack engineer on the Ads and Loans domains: the services that bring ad spend and lender activity into customers’ books.

  1. Billing detection across account hierarchies

Google, Meta and Amazon Ads bill at different levels of the account tree. Designed the logic that attributes every dollar of spend to the right place in the ledger. Finance teams stop reconciling ads by hand.

  2. “Missions” instead of silent failures

Integrations break when a token expires or a permission changes. Built an in-app system that detects broken connections and guides the customer to fix them. Fewer support tickets, fewer gaps in the books.

  3. Validation before customers see it

Reconciliation that checks calculated balances against the general ledger and flags discrepancies before they reach the customer.

02Clikalia

Senior Frontend Developer · May 2023 – Jan 2024 · full-time, remote

Frontend engineer across the customer site, the operations back-office, the shared libraries and investor analytics.

  1. One design system, six apps

Built and maintained the component library all six Next.js apps ship on, and authored a second UI package from scratch. One source of truth instead of six copies.

  2. Owned sales formalization end to end

In a micro-frontend back-office: contract generation, e-signature, direct debit, reservation lifecycle. When the backend wasn’t there, crossed over and wrote the Node services that generate the contracts.

  3. Investor dashboards on BigQuery

A BigQuery-backed API, deployed via GitHub Actions → Docker → Argo CD. Shipped the platform in multiple languages, plus the conversion tracking growth runs on.

03Publicis Sapient

Senior Associate Technology L1 · May 2022 – Aug 2023 · full-time, remote

Frontend engineer on a 20–30 person team building three public websites for Diriyah, a cultural and tourism development near Riyadh (diriyah.sa and two sister sites). Big client, short deadlines, everything from scratch.

  1. Component library first, then pages

One shared set of components, so the three sites stayed consistent and shipped fast.

  2. Working software at every client demo

    Not slides.

  3. Arabic and English, RTL

CMS-driven content for hotels, districts, events and news.

04LeadTrust

Senior Frontend Developer · Apr 2020 – May 2022 · contract

Senior frontend developer on a referral-marketing SaaS for the aging-care industry, built from scratch with a founder who didn’t want an in-house team.

  1. Built the shape of the engagement, not just the code

Requirements were casual and undefined at the start. Scoped them into two-week sprints and iterated. The founder could change direction without renegotiating a team.

  2. Serverless on AWS to match a startup’s budget

Next.js server-rendered app on Fargate, static React apps from S3 via CloudFront, AppSync GraphQL APIs and Lambda. No servers to babysit; cost scales with usage.

  3. One or two people, end to end

Development and graphic design by at most two people, working daily with the CEO in Slack, Jira and Google Meet. In the founder’s words, he needed people “who would care as much about seeing a successful product delivery as I certainly would as an investor.”
